"Typhon's Nurse Anesthesia Student Tracking system has allowed our program the ability to streamline clinical logs and case tracking. "We had a student who failed the PANCE. He went into a deep depression after that, so did not repeat the PANCE in the usual manner. He successfully completed the PANCE 22 months after his initial graduation. However, the State Medical Board declined to give him his license because he had not seen any patients for almost two years, and requested that he appear before the Board during its next meeting - 5 1/2 months later! We admitted him as a special student and found a preceptor who was willing to work with him. He then logged all of his patients on Typhon. After 4 weeks, we printed out the student portfolio report and sent it to the Board. They called him the day they got the printed form and gave him his temporary license that day - AND - he does not have to appear before the Board. Well worth the effort!"
